Robotron is a music based DJ ride utilizing the Kuka robotic arm that is programmed to move in-time with both created and licensed music on the 19th story of the MSC Seascape ship.
Yessian Music developed the full audio deliverable package that consisted of original music, curated popular music and sound design.
The audio was programmed into the ride vehicle’s various modes of operation to give guests differing energy movement levels. Our teams worked with the visual media and technical personnel on the ship to create a sonic impression that would give guests an immersive shower of sound all while the ride vehicle twists and turns surrounded by speakers. Outdoor environmental sounds (ocean waves and wind) became a determining factor in the final mix installation.
